Frequently asked questions
Here are answers to some questions that you may have. If you have any other questions please let us know!
Elements projects contain per-built 'web comonents' that you can simply copy/paste into new projects. They are grouped into various categories for convenience but any element could be used for any purpose.
Replicant projects are inspired by real / live websites and are an attempt to (loosely) recreate them using Source as the base. These projects are intended for learning purposes only as you should not use the projects as they are. Instead the types of layouts shown should be used as inspiration for your own projects. Deconstructing / reconstructing pages that you find online is a great way to learn about web design.
Note - any content / images included on the pages remains under the copyright of the original website and should not be re-used for any purpose other than for what it was intended.
If any non-Source stacks are used then it is indicated by the stacks icon (click on it to see details).
The following are the third-party stacks most commonly used and that should be in everyone's Stacks collection!
Splider (I may be a touch biased but this is the best slider stack for RapidWeaver)
Limelight (Used for any Lightbox / pop-up / modal needs)
Sticky Grummage (Used for sticking content on the screen when scrolling)
ScrollMate 2 (Used for adding scroll-triggered animations)
Chroma (Used for pinning / sliding content on the screen)
Please consider donating for any free stacks.
Source 'Plus' projects available now!
